The children ages nine to fourteen have their own area of the center with a separate schedule of activities, projects and trips geared for their age group. This program started over fifteen years ago when we found that some of our kids were getting to old for traditional daycare. Parents wanted their kids to be involved in a organized program, and the kids needed their own space and some innovative programming to hold their attention.  The result was the development of new program that we called "Outta Bounds".  At its inception it had only 12 kids ages 9 to 12, two staff members and a single room. The program has since grown to more that half of the facilities enrollment, with a staff of eight and over 6,500 sq. ft. of program space. This program is one of a kind in the industry, providing older kids with a place to call their own.
